ERAPPA 2007:

The Top of the Capital Party was held at the top of the Marriott Hotel in Merlot - Ottawa's only revolving restaurant with the best view of the city and surrounding area. The spectacular views set the background for networking with old and new friends. The evening started off with a casual dining experience in the Merlot, where guests wiere invited to wander amongst various food and drink stations hosted by local chefs.
Staff walked the floor and passed out VIP passes to our two hot night spots hidden just below Merlot restaurant on the Hotel's 27th floor. These passes got guests to the front of the line to enter one of two awesome parties that opened a bit later in the evening.
Our first hot party spot was ERAPPA's Studio 54 . It brought back the decade that popularized bell bottoms, clogs, afros, pinball and more importantly, the most popular music of all time. Between the years 1976-1980, disco was at its height of popularity and people were filling discothèques all around the world like Studio 54 in New York City because they couldn't get enough. There was a combination of the hottest music from the 70's and incredible 70's lighting, including a rotating disco ball. Looking down from the balcony, the scene on the dance floor wias spectacular and especially heated up when "Donna Summers", one of the hottest acts from the 70's, performed!
Our Second hot party spot was the Twilight Martini Lounge and Casino where people took in the great sounds of live jazz while socializing in this hip and trendy setting. The Twilight Martini Lounge also offered a casino for those who felt like pulling up a seat up and trying their luck at either black jack or poker. Guests received play money to use at the tables and there were prizes for the top winners.

The CIC Equifax Banquet was held in the Victoria Ballroom at the Ottawa Marriott. The theme was “Jazzing it up with Equifax – A Night of Sound and Light”. The room was set with banquet seating and casual seating areas to allow delegates to eat, move comfortably and maximize networking and fun. The host bar glowed with Equifax’s logo. Live carving stations and a fabulous buffet featured New Orleans inspired dishes. The Jazz Poll Cats provided the entertainment. Lighting was used extensively to make the night sparkle and included LED lit Orchid arrangements on the tables and bar, LED ice cubes with Equifax’s logo on them in water glasses and drinks, LED bank lighting making the ballroom walls alive with colour, LED H2O machines making the dance floor appear to be a pool of rippling water and the ceilings lit up with LED Sunfire mirror ball effects and dancing lasers.
